With great sadness I just found out today Robert (Bob) Kern, retired GM SEMA relations manager passed away last Sunday. I know I speak for everyone that knew Bob and how truly he will be missed. Especially for Fearone, as it were not for Bob and GM taking a chance on a unknown SEMA vehicle designer, there would be know Fearone LLC at all and of course all the major success we have had with our SEMA projects, sponsors, media and movie exposure to date.
On a personal level Fearone first met Bob at the International Chrysler PT Cruiser show in 2005 as he happen to stop by while on vacation. Not to toot our own horn here, but Bob was impressed with our national award winning Chrysler PT Cruiser and ask us to submit a rendering on what a custom Chevrolet HHR should look like to appeal to the younger generation. Well as they say the rest is history and what Fearone has done in the automotive industry. Rest in peace Bob and thank you for your friendship, input and guidance over the years.
On a side note day three at C.E.S. is just as packed and just as fun as day one and past shows. As I always say know matter the economy good or bad, C.E.S. and SEMA shows are always packed with attendees and exhibitors. Plus always amazing at C.E.S. to see the latest tech. stuff or up and coming tech. stuff in the industry.
