Not long after FEARONE completed their outstanding GM HHR design, MAGUIAR’S WAX inquired about the possibility of showcasing the vehicle at the prestigious 2007 DUB Auto show at the LA Convention Center in their booth. FEARONE was more than overjoyed for the opportunity.
Now it is common to find celebrities and performing artists of various varieties, not just gawking at the incredible works of vehicle art at any DUB vehicle showcase, but rather performing for the throngs that attend. But what is rather uncommon to witness unfold is for a performer to request a video shoot with a vehicle at any of the anonymous company booths. Well...what FEARONE was not aware of, was that rap artist, Soulja Boy, was busy surveying the DUB show landscape for vehicle bling in which to dangle into the video shoot of an up and coming project. Soulja Boy found his attention getter in the FEARONE HHR at the MAGUIAR booth and shot a 40 minute video to the intrigue of several hundred fascinated onlookers.
Aside from the honor of receiving Soulja Boy’s focused attention, FEARONE was also extremely fortunate that their HHR design would garner 8 international world class design awards for MAGIC TOUCH. Soulja Boy may have come and gone with his entourage, but FEARONE will always find its heart and soul within its craftsmen and manufacturers.
