The SEMA 2007 trade show was an especially dramatic event for reasons that went beyond the prestigious GM Design award that FEAR ONE was honored to present to STAINLESS STEEL BREAK COMPANY (SSBC) and RK SPORT for their impressive work on the Solstice. With MEGUIAR’S sending their film crew into the Las Vegas Convention Center to find interesting video opportunities for their ‘Car Crazy’ TV show episodes, they found a gold mine, when it was Rap artist, 50 Cent, who turned up sauntering around the venue. Knowing that 50 Cent would be ground zero for any kind of intriguing dialogue, the film crew tagged no further behind than one microphone length that 50 Cent pitched in his hands. But it was 50 Cent’s fascination with Pontiacs in general and FEAR ONE’s crowd wowing Solstice in particular that prompted him to gambol right up to the FEAR ONE venue space, drool and pitch a monologue about his absolute and immediate love for the FEAR ONE Solstice. ‘Car Crazy’ got their video bite and 50 Cent maybe walked away with a tad bit of unfulfilled desire.
